HUNGRY FOR HISTORY Comes to the Library! The Marshall County Historical Society’s summer lecture series will be hosted by the Moundsville Library in 2026. MONDAYS AT NOON IN JUNE AND JULY.

How Sisters of St. Joseph operated Wheeling Hospital during the Civil War, and were declared members of the Union Army when the Federal Government took over the hospital. Main floor.

For Children
The Summer Reading Program – Runs from June thru early August. Along with having special events, the SRP lets kids track the books they are reading and earn rewards. It is aimed at Pre-Schoolers thru 6th Grade. Sign up at the Library. The theme for SRP in 2026 is: “Unearth A Story.”

STORY TIMES
Pre-school Story Times are scheduled during the school year, usually at least one session a week. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Starting with September 4, 2025 through May 2026, Story Time for Preschoolers and Toddlers will be on Thursdays at 11 am.
HOMESCHOOLING PROGRAM

AFTERSCHOOL ACTIVITIES
